    Building LoadsoR for Industry

    Building LoadsoR for Industry

Logistics has been in my DNA. Listening to transport-related phone calls, witnessing the transactions

day and night, drivers and staff coming home round the clock, celebrating the new fleet every festival,

as a family hosting Diwali lunch, all the drivers and cleaners, and most importantly touring my holidays

in those trucks was all fun, entering my DNA to be a transporter as I grew.

Dream comes true and the reality changes. As I was doing my higher studies, I used to feel so happy.

After graduation, I would enter the family business and take it to heights in no time. The reality hits, and

I see there is no respect for a transporter. He is always seen as the last vendor to meet, to be paid, or to

be heard. In this journey, I met my mentor and my fellow founder of the current startup LoadsoR,

Dinesh Bafna, who taught me to grow from a truck supplier to a transporter. Dinesh Bafna happens to be

more than a decade elder to me, but we shared similar visions and thoughts for the industry. He has

always worked well ahead of the market. The journey began with the thought of building a freight

exchange similar to a stock exchange. We failed but learnt a very important lesson that the transport

industry can’t come on auto mode because the one chain which keeps all of us connected is the TRUST.

With this founding, we came up with the idea of LoadsoR. It is a B2B platform for supply chain and

logistics. The core idea behind this is bringing all stakeholders on a single platform and keeping the

ecosystem from fleet owners, truck suppliers, transporters, and manufacturers intact. The truck industry

can’t run like the cabs. Commercial vehicles carry high value of goods, and it can’t be given to any

unknown truck to deliver, so the chain has to be kept intact for the trust of goods and their delivery.

The journey began with building the tech part. It took a lot of effort to explain the tech guys what

exactly we wanted. Later, we found a cofounder Ishu Bhansal from a tech background, and we got on

track and made it the first to use for our customers in our conventional business. We were still

improving, not confident enough to take it to the market. One day, I happened to visit Mumbai for a

regular transport contract and was denied accepting the contract due to low pricing. There, the MD’s 10

minutes for a quick presentation, and he was impressed to give a 12-month subscription. From there, we

kept on improving the product, listening to our users, and today we have 1600 manufacturers registered

on the portal along with 7000 transporters to provide their service.

One thing is for sure: the future is very bright for LoadsoR. Why I say this is because when we entered

the market, people said this industry won’t accept tech. Manufacturers started accepting. Later, people

said transporters won’t use tech, and our numbers themselves answer it. Then, people said drivers won’t

use the app. They started using it because it’s easier than Facebook.

Coming times, I can visualise a manufacturer or trader, even if he gets his material at late night and

decides to ship the consignment, can simply post the requirement on LoadsoR before going to bed. By

the time he wakes up, he has already received a quote for the same. He can accept it before breakfast,

and by the time he reaches the factory, the truck has already reached for loading the shipment.

And this not only saves the time of the shipper but will directly affect the economic growth of the

country, which makes us feel proud walking towards being a catalyst for the economic growth of the

    country.

    LoadsoR

In the coming future, we plan to set up a call center to support drivers 24x7 so that they save time in

explaining documents to the authority and reduce the transit time to deliver the shipment before time.

We also have plans to get into a multi-modal transport system, that’s the 4th phase of planning. As we

are moving forward and growing, the path has become more interesting.

We would be really happy to see people choosing logistics as their career rather than saying that

logistics is the last option. As the logistics industry is growing rapidly world over and most importantly

in India the rapid growth of manufacturing plants gives huge scope for multi modal transport facilities.

Vedant, my co founder joined the team. He has done his master’s in supply chain and comes with great

ideas to add value to our services. This new blood coming in has given a boost to the startup and now

marching towards becoming a unicorn soon.

We are sure we will bring a huge number of employment opportunities to the logistics industry as we

grow and we will make logistics a user friendly and happy department of every organisation joining

hands with us, more than a start up for all the founders team it is like a family identity as what we are

today we have made from this industry and now working to give back to this industry and make our

parents proud who are the actual founders for us.
